TSW (the Specialist Works) are "the go-to media agency for brands that want to grow fast".

THE PROJECT

Our first major refurbishment project undertaken for this imaginative and extremely creative client.

Construction works took place at TSW premises at the Angel, London. The project involved transforming what was quite standard office accommodation into creating relaxed working and meeting areas with a distinct beach theme. Meeting rooms were built as beach huts, sand was imported and the external break out area was decked out and festoon lighting employed to give a real fun feel with the focal point being a helter skelter!

Open plan offices were created with fantastic new lighting throughout. The main objective was to deliver the great design concept the client required. It was an extremely unusual project which posed a number of technical difficulties all of which were successfully overcome.

CONTRACT VALUE: £200,000

The particular works undertaken comprised:-

• Removing existing partition walls
• Demolish and remove all fixtures and fittings to create a blank shell canvas.
• Creating & installing two new Bo Fold Door openings and one new disabled side door access.
• Creating two new internal meeting rooms
• Installing new steel works to accommodate new flooring for the rood garden area
• Installing a new steel safety balustrade
• Installing new decking and artificial grass area.
• Installing new drainage
• Decorations
• Complete electrical wiring and new services installation, Data & lighting.
• New AC Units
• New Suspended Hacel Cable Tray management system incorporating set in lights
• Plumbing services, basins, Sink Units, WC’s
• Internal Doors & ironmongery
• Partitioning and MF Ceilings
• Mezzanine/Walkway floor
• Vinyl Flooring

Phoenix utilised their - directly employed - joiners, electricians, plumbers and decorators who all thoroughly enjoyed the unusual nature of the project and enhanced their ovrerall job satisfaction enormously.

It was an extremely unusual project which demanded bespoke construction solutions which we duly provided.
